This release focuses on improving usability for Service Providers.
Issue Fixed: Improperly Displayed Ampersand Symbols
Previously, some Service Providers encountered issues when entering ampersand symbols (&) into the Complaint Description and Correction Description fields of the Editing Case page. These ampersand symbols would initially display correctly, but after clicking SAVE, would then incorrectly display as HTML.
This issue has been fixed so that when a Service Provider uses an ampersand symbol it will persist as expected after the changes are saved.
New Alerts for Mileage and Engine Hours Data
We made it easier for Service Providers to know if the Mileage and Engine Hours data for an asset were updated recently. Service Providers will see an alert that displays at case creation to help indicate that the data is up-to-date and accurate.
Service Providers will now see one of the following messages in the Asset Info section of the All Cases page based on the data available:
- “Mileage was not populated automatically. Available data is older than 8 hours.”
- “Mileage is populated automatically based on data entered in the last 8 hours.”
- “Engine Hours was not populated automatically. Available data is older than 8 hours.”
- “Engine Hours is populated automatically based on data entered in the last 8 hours.”
With this information, Service Providers can proceed with confidence in their repair, RO export, and even scheduled maintenance management.
