For the Case V8.19.0 Release, targeted for August 29th, we're planning the following improvements.
Enhancements:
- Customer Profile - Addition of audit/history for Customer Number field, when customer is a Registered Fleet (Depot), on Customer details screen.
- Fleet Asset Search (for Fleet users) - To create consistency, when adding an asset, Fleet users will be prompted to search by serial or VIN.
Fixes:
- Request Approval SMS Notifications - Approval request SMS notification will open the estimate tab on mobile.
- OEM Build Info - Refresh concerns resolved for OEM Build Info on the All Cases screen.
Ready for Pilot:
- Multi-Portal Messaging - When selecting a Hino asset while searching in a portal other than Edge, and opting to start a case with that asset, users will see a modal pop-up.

- Vendor Creation Auth Processing - When a Fleet or Broker creates a new Vendor in the system, it will now automatically initiate the user authentication process.
- Asset Type - We're updating our messaging to help users better understand and complete the Asset Type field within asset information.

- Technician Permissions - Users with Technician permissions will not have the ability to approve, defer, or decline operations on behalf of the customer (expected to be released as a patch as soon as possible)
Case V8.19.0 Release:
Customer Profile - Addition of audit/history for Customer Number field:
Users can view the change history of the Customer Number for Registered Fleet customers (Depots), allowing them to track modifications for audit, compliance, and troubleshooting purposes.
Fleet Asset Search:
For Fleets: To ensure consistency, when adding an asset, users are first prompted to search by Serial Number or VIN.
If the asset is not found, they can proceed to the second tab to manually enter the asset information.
Request Approval SMS Notifications:
Request Approval SMS Notifications – Tapping on the approval request SMS notification now correctly opens the Estimate tab on mobile.
All Cases Screen OEM Build Info :
Refresh concerns resolved for OEM Build Info on the All Cases screen.

Hino Multi-Portal Messaging:
Multi-branded locations that can search for assets across different brands, will soon be able to select Hino-branded assets from brands outside their Hino portal, and easily switch to their Hino Edge platform to start cases.
When selecting a Hino asset while searching in a portal other than Edge, and opting to start a case with that asset, users will see a modal pop-up.

Job Role for Case Notes:
In the Notes section of the Editing Case screen, sender information will now include the Job Role of the individual who added the note. This enhancement improves clarity and accountability by providing more context about the note contributor’s position.
Vendor Creation Auth Processing:
When a Fleet or Broker creates a new Vendor in the system, it will now automatically initiate the user authentication process for the associated Vendor user. This update streamlines onboarding and ensures that all Vendor users are properly verified before gaining access.
