For the Case V8.24.0 Release, targeted for November 10th, we're planning the following improvements.
Enhancements:
- Operations Table: Withhold Operations Feature - Hide withheld operations
Fixes:
- Inspection Operations: Operations that include inspections added through Decisiv's API will no longer display errors when the "Do Inspection" button is clicked in the estimate.
- Recall & Campaign Operations: When a recall or campaign operation is added, the Variation field will remain blank; the source opcode value will not be used to populate that field.
- DMS Recalculation: The recalculation for shop supplies, hazardous waste, and tax will occur after the first export when the DMS integration is enabled.
Case V8.24.0 (Targeted for November 10th):
Operations Table - Withhold Operations Feature - Hide Withheld Operations:
By toggling the line-item operations to "Withhold," those items will be marked as withheld. This action will prevent them from being exported to the DMS and will also stop them from appearing in the customer view of the estimate.
In version 8.24.0, we are implementing additional measures to ensure that withheld operations no longer appear on PDF estimates as Deferred/Declined, nor will they be visible in any mobile views of the estimate accessible to customers.
API Inspection Operations:
In the V8.24.0 release, we are making improvements to fix errors users encountered when selecting the "Do Inspection" button while starting the inspection process for operations added to cases through the API.
Recall & Campaign Operations:
We are making changes so that when users add either recall or campaign operations to a case, the operation variation field will stay blank and will no longer be filled with the source operations value.
DMS Recalculation:
We are making adjustments to improve tax calculations for shop supplies and hazardous waste, which will automatically occur after the first case export, depending on your location's DMS integration.
Coming Soon:
DMS Case Repricing Refresh Enhancements:
Changing any of the following aspects of a case will trigger the repricing banner and case modal, advising the user that they now need to refresh their case to update the labor and parts pricing for locations integrated with DSI, Procede, Karmak, and CDK. Selecting the refresh feature places a call and returns the updated pricing from the location’s DMS.
Repricing Triggers:
- Department Change (for locations that have Department enabled)
- Customer Bill To Change
- Customer Number Change
- Asset Changes
- Pending Asset to Asset
- VIN Changed
Should the call fail, users will see a confirmation or failed icon within the modal. They can select the icons to refresh and place another call for updated pricing.
