Case V8.26.0 (Targeted for December 5th):
Estimate PDF Options - Removal of the Additional Charges Print/PDF Option:
The Additional Charges option will be removed from the Print/PDF Actions Estimate popup selections. Since additional charges are a required part of the estimate, they should not be treated as “optional” for display. This option will also be removed from the Estimates PDF Configuration administration page.
API Inspection Operations Errors:
Operations with inspections added through the Decisiv API no longer result in errors when attempting to perform the inspection.
Technician User Permission Update - Approval Statues:
Technician users can view approval statuses, but they can no longer interact with them.
Technician User Permission Update - Remove the "Public" checkbox:
Technician User Permission Update: Remove the "Public" checkbox option for case notes for Technician users.
Mobile Check-In - Notify Specific Contact Field:
Currently, the Mobile Check-In site automatically selects the first recipient in the list to receive the Check-In notification. This behavior differs from the Check-In Quick Action Button flow on the desktop site.
To ensure consistency across platforms and prevent unnecessary notifications, we are updating the Mobile Check-In site. The Notify Specific Contact field will now default to a blank state.
This change ensures that the first recipient in the list will not be inundated with notifications when no specific contact has been selected.
Coming Soon (Post V8.26.0):
Inspection Outcomes - Categorize Inspection Items by Urgency:
We're making improvements to help users and customers better understand which failed inspection items are urgent, which are important but can wait, and which are simply informational. This will help all involved to make confident decisions about what to address now, what to plan for later, and what’s just for awareness.
Inspection Operations - Notes transfer to the Complaint Description Field of Relevant Operation:
We're streamlining our inspection process to include an automatic transfer of any notes entered in the notes fields for inspection items where related repair operations are available. Inspection item outcome notes will soon automatically be added to the complaint field on the related operation (when added from the inspection), saving users time from having to rekey the information.
