Overview
We've improved the Notes UI, available for BDTM-enabled locations, to standardize how notes are created, viewed, and shared across the app. Notes can be categorized as internal, external, public, or system-generated, each with distinct visibility, color coding, and icons to clearly communicate their purpose.
Desktop View
Internal Notes: Selecting a recipient from the same group as the contact/user initiating the note creates an internal note. Internal notes have a light blue background and include the Internal Notes icon.
External Notes: Selecting a recipient not in the same group as the contact/user who initiated the note creates an external note. External notes have a white background and do not contain an icon.
Public Notes: Any note can be made public by selecting the Public Option before sending. Public notes are viewable by anyone with access to the case notes and have a light yellow background, marked by the Public icon.
System-Generated Notes: System-generated notes are generated when a QAB is used or the case status is updated. Each system-generated note is represented as such and is viewable by both users and contacts. These notes have a light grey background and consistently identify the change that generated the note.
